Welcome to Perthshire Wildlife, a small Scottish company which helps connect locals and holiday makers to the beautiful Perthshire countryside and wonderful wildlife that lives here. We run guided walks across Big Tree Country to enjoy our amazing Perthshire wildlife and countryside. Popular walks include our Beaver Safaris where we observe European beavers living wild on the River Tay catchment, Bloomin’ Beautiful Bluebells, Batty Dusk Wildlife to enjoy evening wildlife such as roe deer, bats and woodcock, Super Swifts – all about the folklore and conservation of these amazing birds, Foraging events to learn about what’s safe (and not!) to eat from the wild and guided tours of the amazing Cateran Trail.
Central Perthshire is one of the best places to see European beavers in the wild and we run safaris by kayak, in conjunction with local kayaking experts, as well as on foot to get close to these amazing creatures. We were recently featured on Countryfile on a beaver safari by kayak – see the clip on the right where we are beaver-spotting on the River Tay with Charlotte!
We also run tailor made tours and guided walks – just contact us with the species or place you would like to see and we will do the rest!
