Amazing beaver safari We had the most amazing time on our beaver safari. Joan was a fabulous guide and made sure that we had the opportunity to see the beavers. We sat for about an hour watching about 6 of them coming and going from the lodge. It was the highlight of our week of wildlife watching in Scotland. We even think we saw a bonus otter.

Wonderful evening on the riverbanks! Fascinating and exciting evening with our local guide, Jean, who shared her wealth of information and passion with us, really building up to making the beaver sightings even more exciting by providing a deeper understanding of their habitat, behaviours and how they benefit the landscape. We had a lovely evening, wished we had bought our binoculars but were very grateful to be lent Jean's pair, and to experience the thermal camera that she kindly shared with us, too. And yes, we saw several beavers going about their work which was just beyond exciting - a first ever sighting for us.

Lesson on beaver conservation plus spotting them Marvelous experience about beavers ecology. It was no just to be able to see the beavers (some of them, interacting, from eru close), but all the information given about its ecology, conservations and issues with human presence. I strongly recommended it.
