Join us on our brand new Angus Coastal Tour this summer! Our tours start off on April 26th, when the spring flowers are coming through and the seabirds have returned to the cliffs to start nesting. It may be a bit early to spot dolphins but we will keep our fingers crossed.

The day will start at 10am when we meet you in the car park of Monifieth Station. We will see what waders are on the beach and then move on to Easthaven beach, where we will have a walk along the lovely sandy coast, again spotting birds, wildflowers and hopefully sea mammals!

We then head to the cliffs in Arbroath where lots of noisy seabirds are nesting, and where we walk along the clifftops, again looking for wildlife in the sea as well as some unusual plants along the path. We will stop for lunch at a cafe with good local food (or you can bring a packed lunch, the cost of lunch isn’t included). After lunch we head north to Auchmithie to again look for seabirds, especially Puffins, coastal wildflowers and sea mammals. We will return to Monifieth between 4 and 5, depending on the weather and what we see.

We are really looking forward to running this tour – all details here. Beautiful as Perthshire is, there is no coast and after growing up on the Angus coast myself, I do miss the beach and the wonderful wildlife found there! We look forward to seeing you in the summer. Daniele
