We are working with Tayside Bioregioning and Cateran Ecomuseum on a new nature project in Alyth Den over the next couple of months and are looking for people to take part in river, plant and mammal surveys, as well as a couple of volunteer days to plant trees and remove non-natives.

We started last week with a talk about the mammals of the Den and how we can find their tracks and signs, and erected a couple of trailcams in the Den to hopefully photograph some exciting wildlife! I am sure we will get Roe deer, humans and dogs, but we are also hoping for Red fox, Red squirrel and maybe even Pine marten……

The next day is on the 25th of February where we will be carrying out a survey of the water life of the burn. Any questions email Clare at bioregioningtayside@gmail.com

Please join us if you would like to become a part of this exciting project in Eastern Perthshire. All details are below. Hope to see you soon!
