We have a few pond volunteering days coming up that you may be interested in joining. We are working on a number of SUDS ponds across Perthshire to improve them for wildlife by removing invasive vegetation, creating open water and planting pollinator-friendly wetland wildflowers.
We had a very successful day at the North Inch pond in Perth in early December and will be returning here on March 2nd from 11am (we have a private group from 9-11am), so please join us then! The day at Elm Drive SUDS in Blairgowrie in March is already fully booked but we hope to run another one so I’ll put that date up here as soon as it’s confirmed.
We are still waiting on a lot of other landowner permissions, but we hope to work at Abernethy, Glasgow Rd in Perth and at Bertha Park too.
