We have had some fantastic volunteer days to improve ponds for amphibians as part of Phase 2 of the Tayside Ponds Project recently.  In both Perth and Blairgowrie, we have created more welcoming ponds for spawning amphibians by removing invasive vegetation and planting pollinator-friendly native wildflowers.

We had a group of architects helping out from Studio LBA who were also interested in the planning issues around ponds and wildlife, and we looked at the amphibian ladders and wildlife kerbs we have had installed on a nearby road.

We have a few more volunteering days coming up – Blairgowrie on 17th of March, Perth (TBC) on the 30th of March & Guildtown on the 31st of March. Please come along to help and learn more about our wonderful pond wildlife! Contact Daniele on taysidepondsproject@gmail.com for more info.
